The Southern Bell website serves as a comprehensive news portal for Valley Stream South High School, offering newspapers, articles, artwork, polls, and more. Its newspapers feature a well-organized collection of articles categorized by tags for easy navigation. Each newspaper and article includes an appropriate title, author information, dates of creation and editing, social sharing options, image sliders, and enhanced visibility for the first letter of titles. The artwork section provides students with the opportunity to upload their creative works, much like the article submissions. Each author is provided with a dedicated public sharable profile page. Interactive polls are available to engage the community in a simple, enjoyable, and anonymous manner. The Southern Bell uses a CMS for no-code website content management.
